E-Mail Campaigns
By selfemployedblog | March 16, 2006
If you have a web site for your small business, it’s probably a good idea for you to invest in e-mail marketing. Letting users opt-in to your e-mail list gives you the opportunity to send out e-mail marketing campaigns every so often to keep your customers coming back. It is a great way to retain your client base. Most customers may not return to your web site but by sending out an informative e-mail once a week with rebates, new product, or new service details, will keep your customers in the loop and remind them of why they were interested in your business in the first place.
You don’t even need to be a web guru to send e-mail campaigns. Plain text messages work fine but if you have budget, you can hire a web developer to design a nice HTML template that you can reuse. Most e-mail marketing software are web based and user friendly. Remember not to spam users but as long as they opt-in and you provide a link for them to unsubscribe with each message, you should be fine. You can give e-mail marketing a try and see how it helps grow your business.
