The 4-Hour Workweek: Is It Possible?

ADVERTISEMENTS

The 4-Hour Workweek: Escape 9-5, Live Anywhere, and Join the New Rich is a new book written by author Timothy Ferriss. The book is generating a lot of buzz and it is understandable since it deals with escaping the 9 to 5 lifestyle which most people deal with. Even self-employed individuals may find themselves working very long hours. The book revolves around getting your life back while still being productive. Timothy emphasizes the fact that we need to unplug from the stuff that causes the most distraction such as checking your email 100 times a day. I am definitely guilty of that!

He also talks about outsourcing a lot of the day to day tasks so that you have more time to do what you consider to be your ideal lifestyle. I really like his ideas and plan on picking up a copy of the book myself. The great thing is he is living the life he talks about.

Timothy talks more about it below:

Guilty as charged! I check my email too often, check forums, blogs etc too often. Still, I believe I do more than 4 hours of work per week. At least most weeks :)
