The Joy of Not Working

The book, “The Joy of Not Working“, written by Ernie Zelinski is the book I credit for inspiring me to make the move to self-employment. I picked up the book by chance while browsing through the home business section of the bookstore. The title struck me and I decided to give it a read. I read it in a matter of days while riding back and forth on the train to work.

Almost everything I read I could relate to. The book is not a guide to quitting your job or being self-employed, but rather a guide to enjoying your life and living it to its fullest. Whether it is with a full-time job or with your own business, you will learn to enjoy your life a whole lot more.

I’ve read this book about 3 times and refer to it often when I need inspiration. I even wrote the author and he is a really awesome guy! It is an entertaining read and I think most people would thoroughly enjoy it and more than likely read it over and over again. I highly recommend you pick up a copy and keep it as a reference.
